Canongate Books does not collect 'personally identifying information' about individuals except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals. Canongate Books users should be aware that if they voluntarily disclose personal information (e.g., username, email address) on the public areas of the site (when writing articles or posting comments, for example), that this information can be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages from other posters or parties.
