Publishing is dead. Long live publishing!
Pagan Kennedy edits the webzine Writer 2.0 that aims to examine the book in all its forms, in the context of the ever-changing world of publishing. Kennedy and her contributors give an author's perspective on various topics, including backlist publishing, unusual publishing ventures and even work experience placements.
The key question for Writer 2.0 (and for all of us in the publishing industry) is: what will the word 'book' mean in five years? We don't think anyone really knows, but it's fantastic that sites like Writer 2.0 are around to help demystify some of the hype.
