What better way to round up the success that's been the Edinburgh International Book Festival than to feature the official Book Festival blog?

Instead of 'live blogging' events or writing reviews, notes from the festival is a summary of the highs and lows, the literary and the not-so-literary events and people of note (check out this year's rubber ducky picture), giving those unfortunate enough not to have made it to Edinburgh this August the chance to see what they've missed. They've even generously put MP3 files of some of their favourite Book Festival events online for public download!

We love that we've been given a 'behind the scenes' peek at an international festival like this (especially that secretive, mysterious Author's Yurt) - and we hope they bring the blog back next year!
