The Internet is far too big to just feature hypertext pages on the web. Therefore, for our inaugural non-hypertext Site of the Week, we've chosen the Book Slam podcast!
Since we're based in Edinburgh, the staff at Canongate don't often get the chance to hang out at London's coolest monthly literary club night (although some of us are lucky enough now and again). So we have to settle for living vicariously through this wonderfully personable, high-quality podcast (which has won a Sony award, we hear). The April edition includes a hilarious comedic musical performance by Ginger and Black, interviews and readings (don't miss Ross Raisin's God's Own Country).
(Full disclosure: Canongate's head of publicity is an energy dynamo who also contributes to the running of Book Slam.)
If you've got a website or podcast you'd like to submit for Site of the Week consideration, send us an email (make sure the recipient is Website enquiries).
