It was big news last week -- Delacorte will be publishing 14 unpublished short stories by the genius of the absurd, Kurt Vonnegut. Quite unsurprisingly, they'll also be re-issuing 15 backlist titles from the author, who -- in my mind -- can't be pigeonholed into any genre.
I'm a long-time fan of Kurt Vonnegut, and this news has made me want to re-read all the books I have in my collection.
It was only a couple of years ago that I picked up Bluebeard to read again, so I think it's high time for Slaughterhouse-Five (naturally), Player Piano, Cat's Cradle, Mother Night, and Galapagos (my favourite, bar none).
Did you feel a pang of sadness that Kurt Vonnegut passed? Which is your favourite book?
