Tuesday 4 November 2008

It would be completely remiss of us not to focus on the most important day in America this year: today is the day Americans go to the polls to vote for their new President. In a campaign that has seen record levels of donations and scandals (and non-scandals) galore, where should the general public go to read about the election?

An interesting site we'd like to highlight is Election Projection, which, for political junkies and masochists, is a godsend in covering all 50 states and analyses the poll numbers, as they slide from Republican to Democratic hands and vice versa. If you want to know the numbers right now, Election Projection is the go-to site - given the circus that was this campaign, we can probably expect campaigning for 2012 to start on Wednesday!

(We would also like to give a small shout out to our very own Dan, who will be live-blogging the election for as long as he can stay awake.)

If you've got a website or podcast/vodcast you'd like to submit for Site of the Week consideration, send us an email (make sure the recipient is Website enquiries).
