Brazilian rockers CSS played a sensational concert last night at Edinburgh's Liquid Rooms.

Blowing Norwich kids The Kabeedies right out of the water, Lovefoxxx and the rest of the team did what they do best - got people dancing, deafened a few, played up the strobe lights and confetti and taught us how to strut like sexy Latin types. If you were looking for an antidote for a Sunday night in autumn - maybe the dreariest time of the week/year - this is it! For about an hour, the mesmerised crowd was transported to a land of floral catsuits, messy mullets, eyeshadow to the max and total defiance to the Paris Hilton school of style.

It was all over way too fast, so I invite you today to browse a selection of the lead singer's greatest costume moments:

Ha - I saw that too. It was a) pretty impressive that Stephen Fry knew the intro to 'Let's Make Love (and Listen to Death from Above)' and b) funny that Simon Amstell did 2 takes of the same line, at first saying how cool the band are, and second claiming he'd forgotten them already - just in case they don't make it big over here after all!

I heard an introduction to one of their tracks on Never Mind the Buzzcocks - they sounded rather good indeed!
