Once upon a time (at the beginning of this century), I used to spend a lot of time online for fun (as opposed to the present day, when I spend a lot of time online for work, which I'm sure you'll agree is much less fun). I had a few must-visit sites on my list, and to my absolute delight, one of my favourites is still going strong.
Someone I know (in)famously said, "Ideas? I've got ideas coming out of my arse!" Halfbakery is the web-based realisation of that statement. If you've got an account with Halfbakery, you can post and annotate ideas that you or any other Halfbaker has come up with. It's a forum for creativity, satire, speculation, and maybe sometimes a launchpad into greatness.
Like an idea? Vote it up and it grows into a croissant. Hate it? Vote it down and give it fishies. Halfbakery has looked and behaved in pretty much the same way since 1999, showing the world that some ideas just never get old. I am a born-again Halfbaker.
