The BoatWin a signed copy of The Boat

Nam Le has found critical and commercial success with the publication of his first book, a collection of short stories titled The Boat, which won the prestigious Dylan Thomas prize in 2008. The hardback edition was praised both for its literary and aesthetic excellence, and Nam has found Internet and mainstream media fame, with interviews being published in diverse (but always popular) publications, from the New York Times to BookNinja.

So this month's contest is an interview contest – read the interviews posted on Nam’s website and come up with a (family-friendly) interview question that he’s never been asked. Nam will select the top three questions and they will be answered here on Meet At The Gate. The winners will also receive a signed copy of The Boat (B-format) and a selection of highlights from Canongate’s list.

The competition closes at midnight Monday, 3rd March 2009. Please email your questions to: andrea.see @ canongate . co . uk (remove the spaces).

Update: You can read Nam Le's answers to the winning questions now on Meet At The Gate.
